ABOUT ABOUT

An unforgettable opportunity to see one of the most talked about movies of the year! We will show the award-winning movie The Stanford Prison Experiment at The Reel, followed by a panel discussion of the film and the psychological experiment on which it is based.

A deeply disturbing look into the nature of humanity, this critical darling is deeply disturbing yet profound, leaving the audience to question the very nature of humanity and the roles we each play every day. The film is based on the original documentary footage and produces a series of phenomenal performances from Billy Crudup and Michael Angarano.

This film fits well with Mosaics classes looking at ethics and the nature of humanity, as well as social inequity and would tie in well with Plato, Locke, Hobbes, Rousseau, Freud, Scripture and many more.
