Temple Talks: Living the Political Process: Students from the RNC and DNC

This summer students from throughout Temple University participated in the Republican and Democratic National Conventions. Some of these incredible students will be coming to talk about the experience, being part of and the subject of the media circus and what they think it means for the political process. 

Panelists Include:

Rob DiRienzo: Rob DiRienzo is a senior Journalism major who is also pursuing a minor in Political Science. He covered the 2016 Democratic National Convention for KTVA 11, the CBS affiliate in Anchorage, AK. Currently, he is the Multimedia Editor at The Temple News and a Junior Reporter on Fox 29's Good Day Philadelphia.

Christina Klos: Christina Klos is an undergraduate student studying Strategic Communication at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa.  She received her associate’s degree from Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pa, where she is now a part-time faculty member as a multi-subject tutoring mentor. An aspiring educator, Christina looks forward to working with Teach For America next year. 

Che Raskin: Che Raskin grew up in New York City and always enjoyed reading the news and knowing what was going on the world. Unsure of what to study entering college, he eventually realized the importance of politics and has been interning with the Clinton campaign for the Fall of 2016.


Anh Nguyen (RNC): Anh Nguyen is a sophomore in Journalism and Information Science & Technology at Temple University. Nguyen is an Honors Peer Mentor, Homecoming Court member and a proud international Owl. Nguyen loves experimenting and her latest venture is in startup idea, which led her team to win first place at the 3rd J-school Hackathon at University of Georgia in October. 

Alexa Ross (DNC)
